According to Twitter's co-founder, Biz Stone, Twitter is looking at rolling out commercial accounts to encourage users to pay for premium services. Like Facebook, Twitter has been storing user data and could make those analytics available to business users at a cost. Don't worry! I say it's about time and it looks like they are actually putting some thought into how they can make money in new ways, rather than the old-fashioned, but effective online advertising model.
